Engr. Kofi Dabo Jnr.

Group President and Board Chair

Engr. Kofi Dabo Jnr. serves as the Group President of JK Dabo Companies and chairs the board of this esteemed organization. As a business development and investment specialist, his focus extends to the entire agricultural value chain, construction, and sustainable initiatives. Additionally, he holds board positions at Obybrwone Company Limited and the Brighter Ghana Foundation, an NGO dedicated to creating an agricultural employment model for tertiary graduates.

Currently, he is actively engaged by a prominent U.S.-based manufacturing company specializing in engineering, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery. In his role, he oversees the commercial aspect globally, leading the organization across various segments and markets. Widely recognized as the “IDEA man,” he is a distinguished global business developer with a strong professional reputation.

His academic background includes a bachelor’s and master’s in engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) and Montana Technological University, respectively. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Project Management from Apec Petro-Technic and a Master of Business Administration from Texas State University. Additionally, he possesses certificates in project management and leadership. Renowned for his energy, enthusiasm, and dynamic approach to business and projects, he is driven by a commitment to results, quality, safety, and excellence. Under his leadership, the company he directs is making significant strides toward becoming a leader in smart farming in Ghana and West Africa.

Mr. Samuel Dabo

Co-Chair of the Board

Mr. Dabo is a career manager and management consultant, currently serving as the Co-Chair on the Board with an extensive background spanning over 25 years in both the private and public sectors. In the realms of faith and industry, he has actively contributed to and led various projects and committees, showcasing his leadership capabilities. His commitment is evident not only in the private sector but also through his involvement in multiple boards and committees within the public service. Drawing from his wealth of experience and expertise in agriculture, management, and public administration, Mr. Dabo has played a pivotal role in establishing a strong foundation for the organization’s success. His educational background includes a bachelor’s and graduate degree, complemented by additional significant qualifications that equip him with the knowledge needed to effectively co-chair and guide the company. Further enhancing his managerial skills, he has pursued a postgraduate diploma in senior management and management consultancy at GIMPA and KNUST, respectively. His profound understanding of administration and demonstrated aptitude has been instrumental in propelling the company forward, contributing significantly to its achievements since its inception.

Madam Peace Fomenya

Snr Leader, Technical and Project Lead

She is a senior agricultural extensionist with over 3 decades of experience and expertise in crops, processing (crop management including post-harvest activities), and animal production. She has worked with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) for over 35 years in various capacities. Her diligence, integrity, long service, and high sense of duty saw her rise through the ranks to become a district director. She has served as a district director for over a decade, leading great and diverse teams in over 4 districts within the country and making significant impacts in different agricultural projects and farms. She holds a Bsc in Agricultural Extension and a master’s degree in NGO Studies and Management from the University of Cape Coast. Also, she has undertaken on the job training, leadership courses, and workshops in areas like management and leadership throughout her career to put her in the position to excel as a senior agricultural manager within her assigned districts. As an administrative director, her excellent ability as a team leader and application of agricultural knowledge and skills have yielded remarkable results for her operational areas, farmers, and the country at large.

Prof. Nana Ama Klutse

Board Member, Research and Development Director

Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse is a distinguished scholar and climatologist renowned for her noteworthy contributions to the understanding of climate change and its repercussions. Her academic and professional accomplishments underscore a dedicated commitment to advancing climate science, fostering global collaboration, and advocating for sustainable practices. With a wealth of experience in research, leadership, and service in the realm of climate change, Prof. Klutse has made substantial contributions to various initiatives related to this critical field. Currently holding the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at the University of Ghana, Prof. Klutse also serves as the Vice Chair of Working Group I for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Additionally, she acts as a board member for the UNESCO Basic Sciences Programme, further highlighting her influential role in shaping policies related to climate change. Prof. Klutse’s impact on policy formulation and implementation has been acknowledged by both academic and governmental institutions, solidifying her standing as a credible and competent authority in the field.

Rev. Capt. Emmanuel Darko (Rtd.)

Board Member, Facility and Security Director

Rev. Capt. Darko (Rtd.) is a veteran who has served his country in the Ghana Armed Forces for almost a decade in various capacities including transport and logistics and embarking on United Nations Peacekeeping Operations in Lebanon and Liberia. Upon his retirement from the Army, he has served in various technical and managerial capacities within the banking and energy industries. Rev. Capt. Darko (Rtd.) has over ten years’ experience in the banking industry working in several managerial capacities such as Head of Administration, Procurement and Stores Manger, General Services, and Facilities Manager at Zenith Bank Corporate Headquarters. In the energy industry, he has been engaged in varied roles including Facilities and Fleet Manager as well as the manager for the newly established Security Department at the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST). Alongside his engagement in corporate Ghana, He is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. He holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Classical History and Civilization from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Again, he holds a master’s degree in Arts in Ministry from the Trinity Theological Seminary. Also, he holds several professional and international diplomas and certificates in Logistics and Transport as well as Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management.

Rev. Sylvester Pomenya Dzokoto

Administrator

He is an ordained minister affiliated with the Faith Evangelical Mission Worldwide, having devoted Nineteen (19) years to roles such as regional administrator and Missions Director. Possessing a social science degree from the University of Cape Coast, his academic focus includes administration and Human Resource Management. Accumulating over a decade of administrative experience, he has served in various capacities with institutions such as Substance Investment Limited, JIKO Foundation, Lighthouse Children’s Home (now Charis Shepherd Vineyard), and Attakey Wood Processing Enterprise. His involvement extends beyond administrative roles; he has functioned as both secretary and administrator on multiple boards. Currently, he is the founder of the Christian Care and Outreach Consult, an NGO situated in the Central Region, specializing in comprehensive humanitarian services and Community Impact Programs. Recognized for his unwavering dedication and humility, Rev. Dzokoto is a significant asset to both the Christian community and any sector in which he is engaged. A proponent of leadership development, he demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and a sincere interest in the growth of individuals. Whether leading initiatives independently or collaborating within a team, Rev. Dzokoto is known for his reliability and dependability in achieving tasks.
